Domestic Pools > Case Study 4
This 10m x 3m pool is ideal for swimming laps and has been positioned in a snug space atop a steep sloping site. The area was previously underused and has now been transformed into a chic summer space.
The design was so appealing that it has recently featured on the front cover of one of Australia’s leading swimming pool publications, Lifestyle Pools and Outdoor Design.
The sharp clean lines of the pool compliment the linear design of the home, while the retaining wall to one side of the pool has been cleverly disguised as a subtle water feature with pebble stone inlays.
The WOW factor to this pool and landscape is undeniably the negative edge built in to one side of the pool. Although a stunning feature, the negative edge has also aided in the pool design as a solution to the rapidly changing ground level.
A PCC2000 cleaning system keeps the water sparkling clean while a Sunbather Solar System maintains the water temperature during the swimming season.
